The 2023 URSU By-Election is coming and it’s your chance to be instrumental in providing direction to your Students’ Union on how best to support U of R students. A small investment of your time could enrich the lives of your fellow students and take their educational experience to new heights!
Consider running for one of the positions available on the University of Regina Students’ Union (URSU) Board of Directors or the University’s Senate, Council and/or Executive of Council. Candidates interested in running for election are encouraged to stop by the URSU Offices to speak with the General Manager to gain a better appreciation of roles, responsibilities and expectations.
The nomination period is November 1st to November 7th. Nomination packages can be found by clicking on the following link or at ursu.ca/elections:

Nomination Forms are to be submitted by the deadline to:
URSU Member Services Riddell Centre 221 or by email to cro@ursu.ca by Tuesday, November 7th at 4pm.
An All Candidates Information Session with the Chief Returning Officer (CRO) will take place on November 9th at 5pm over Zoom or In-Person ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL CANDIDATES.
Campaigning will take place from November 14th at 12am CST and will end November 21st 11:59pm CST.
Voting will begin at 12am CST on Monday November 20th and the polls will close on November 21st at 11:59pm CST. A voting link will be sent to URSU members’ student email addresses.
The All-Candidates Forum will be held over Zoom November 14th from 4pm to 6pm. Everyone is invited to attend the forum to hear from the candidates and ask questions about what they plan to do for you and other students.

○ Luther College
- Constituencies
