Moroccan Soup

  • ½ cup lentils
  • 2 cups diced vegetables of choice
  • ¼ cup powdered vegetable soup base (included)
  • Spice mix (included)
  • 8 cups water 
  • Optional: freshly grated ginger
  • Spice mix: 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp cayenne pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. Bring 8 cups water to a boil
  2. Dice vegetables of choice
  3. Carefully add vegetables, ginger (optional), lentils, spice mix and vegetable broth to the water
  4. Reduce to low and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until lentils are tender
