FAQ
1. Why don't you have any exams for my class?
There could be two reasons for this:
One, The Exam Registry is continuously reviewed to remove any severely outdated exams and tests. These are deemed no longer useful for courses and can be counterproductive when studying for an exam where content changes frequently.
Two, no one has submitted an exam for your class yet. The exam registry depends on students AND instructors to bring us past exams so that they can be added to the registry.
2. How much does it cost to get exams from the Exam Database?
Absolutly nothing! Go ahead... knock yourself out. Download them all if you want.
3. Why are the exams in Adobe PDF format?
Exams are scanned using our Canon photocopier which scans exams into Adobe PDF format. We use PDF because it is virtually compatible with any computer that is used by a student or staff. If you need assistance in getting a copy of an exam in another format, please contact us. Because these exams are scanned, you will not be able to edit the text in them without first converting it. URSU will not convert scanned images to text for you.
4. I don't know the department / faculty code and course number for my class. Can you help?
You can find the department/faculty code and course number on UR Self Service. Each course that you're registered to has a course code, often a 4 character abbreviation of the name, and a course number, usually the level of the class, or the division of it. If you need to have this clarified, please ask your instructor.
